Sacramento - Flat Track Pick 'Em

We have headed west to Sacramento, CA and 23 of the best Pickem players in the country have made their way out for a west coast double header. Next week, the series will visit Castle Rock, WA. Earlier tonight, 5 people picked Johnson to win the Dash fror Cash and will earn 3 extra points to their season total(reeder, jtslady, Dan River, Vince, and The Warden).
 
The light goes green and we are off on this beautifully prepared mile. Out front with the early lead is a group of 5 with Smith picked to win(reeder, jtbiker, jtslady, thefan, and stuman714). That group is followed closely by another group of 7 with Johnson picked to win. The next group is right behind with Mees or Halbert to win. Verticaltwin and motorcycleman60 has misfired off the line with Wiles and Lewis to win.
 
10 laps in lead group of 5 has shrunk to 4 with reeder, jtbiker, jtslady, and stuman714. There is another group of 5 just 4 bike lengths back that includes Tricia2186, Vince, bbrp, Dan River, and jped. Then there is another 15 bike lengths back to Mikey Reed, Bill A, and mrbanks46.
 
Now past half way and the lead group is down to 3. Side by side is reeder, jtbiker, and jtslady- all of which picked the top 3 in order. The same group of 5 is still chasing them from 4 bike lengths behind with Tricia2186, Vince, bbrp, Dan River, and jped. Stuman714 has dropped from the lead group and seemingly come up with a mechanical problem.
 
The 5 lap to go board is out and reeder and jtbiker have seperated themselves from the rest of the pack. Just 4 bike lengths back to jtslady, Tricia2186, Vince, and Dan River. Rounding out the top 10 are jped, bbrp, Mikey Reed, and Bill A.
 
The race to the checkered flag is upon us and here comes the field down the front straight for the final time. Reeder just nips jtbiker at the finish line, and jtslady will come home 3rd just 2 bike lengths back. Dan River and Vince will round out the top 5.
 
Jtbiker and jtslady got off to poor starts on Daytona but have rebounded big time. Jtbiker has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th in the last 4 races. Jtslady has a 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, and 4th in the last 4 races. Points will be updated soon. See you all in Castle Rock next weekend.
