I can tell you a little...

the owner/builder is Paul Bailey from the Toledo, Ohio area..

He told me a year ago ( or so) that he was going to build this bike.....and obviously, he did.

I saw it for the first time at Lima...and it's a beauty

Paul is a local vintage rider. I have seen him on a rigid framed Triumph most recently, but back in the day ( 2001-2004?ish) he rode a Honda twin.

I secretly hoped he'd keep this Laverda, ( which if it isn't one of a kind; is damn close ) strictly a show-bike, but turns out the poor guy hasn't kicked the habit yet, and plans to race it.

I haven't talked to Paul since, but if I was a betting man ( and just for the record I am) I would put my money on seeing that bike in action at Wauseon this coming Friday night.

Awesome bike! Like someone commented upon seeing one of these gassing up at the pump....Damn, that's the biggest Honda Super Hawk I've ever seen!

That thing is bad to the BONE! Don't see a Laverda "VERY OFTEN"! Let alone in Flat Track trim. BEAUTIFUL!!!!! MORE PICS PLEASE!
