National #43 Sammy Halbert won the Digger Helm Open Pro final both days at Eddie Mulder's season ending double header at Willow Springs. National #3 Joe Kopp was the only rider capabile of defeating Halbert over the weekend as he took the victory in the Rod Lake Racing "Dash for Cash" which paid out $2,000. Halbert also set a new track record for the 3/8th mile banked oval at Walt James Stadium.

 Natonial #43 Sammy Halbert took the victory over National #37 Jimmy Wood in Round 4 of the West Coast Vintage Dirt Track Series Digger Helm Open Pro Main Event. Halbert also set a new track record in the process at 20.22/100 seconds to displace Jake Johnson's old track record. Jamey Blunt Photo |

Pro Plates is pleased to announce an extremely limited edition of ten(10) 2009 Flattrack.com #1 Plates. These 10 plates are the same as the Flattrack.com #1 Plate that will be awarded to the winner of the 2009 Flattrack.com Overall Flattrack Championship.

This is the first time in history that fans donating to a fan-based point fund have had the opportunity to recieve a copy of the famed #1 Plate.
