As far as presidential scandals go, Iran-Contra is two bit. Not that the subterfuge is a good thing, I came from a profession where playing games with ethics was a one way ticket to disbarment, but nowhere has anyone shown that Reagan knew about the Contra diversion, that was Ollie North's baby.
And even if Reagan knew about it, I'm supposed to get morally outraged about people juking the system to fund those who were opposing Daniel Ortega and that motley band of reds down there? You want me to shed tears for the Sandanistas because some U.S. officials used arms payments to divert money to oppose them in all their communist splendor? Please! Might as well damn Schindler for playing fast and loose to save a thousand or so Jews from the Nazis.

Ol' Ronnie was my favorite prez, but I'm a little young still... He shot pretty straight and was a charismatic "no b.s." leader. Best of all he was an AMERICAN!!!He knew what our country stood for and was proud to be our president!! Our current president is ashamed of America and he is ashamed of being an American. That alone should disqualify him... nevermind showing a valid birth certificate.
