The cost of racing has always been a discussion for those looking to move up through the amateur ranks and into the realm of professional racing. To most the thinking process is new, but to those who understand the business side of the equation, budgets are a way of life whether it is an amateur program or professional effort. You see, only when you can identify every legitimate cost could you accurately plan for results. Anything less and you are letting "lady luck" run your program. But what does that mean? Can I ever afford to race as a professional? Will I always be running for contingency money? What is it going to take? HELP! |
