We rolled into Knoxville on Friday afternoon, and RRCF Racing rider Michael "Itchy" Bickerton #28p hitched a ride for Matt George's Vintage race on Friday night racing Jeff Hawbaker's Honda Single.
"Itchy" won his heat and took the win in the 80's single class, which we were optimistic would give us some momentum in Sunday's Pro race.
We hung out, Saturday, outside the grandstands at the famed Knoxville track, doing some last minute work on the bikes for Sunday's race. The weather was beautiful and we had several passerbys all afternoon stop by and check out the bikes and chit chat on their way into the World Of Outlaws show.

Hope everyone had a great day with their Fathers, I can say mine went well.
Knoxville Iowa 1/2 mile is the track, and smooth speed is on the menu.
Started off the day out of the van in P10 from the free practice. The bike did feel good under me, the track was a bit rough starting off, but no adjustments at this point needed.
1st timed practice has us dropping down the leader board a bit, changed a tooth on the rear for the 2nd timed practice.
Last chance to put some good laps in and I felt very uncomfortable due to having a competitor in front of me not turning as good of times, going out each time in qualifying.
A track like this is about rhythm, and I just couldn't get mine.
