We left early on Thursday morning, and flew into St. Louis. There, we met up with Jimmy Wood at Race Tech. Brandon came and picked us up, and took us to TJ's shop. The guys worked on bikes till 2:00 am, and we were back up by 7:00 am.
We finished up by noon and drove to Peoria, IL for the Nace All Star race. We got there, and the track was a little smaller than I thought it would be.
I went out in practice and the bike set up was pretty close, but the gear was far off. I came in and put a few teeth on and went back out.
In the heat I came off dead last and worked my way up to third. However, they only took two so I had to go to a semi.
We went into Springfield excited and optimistic fielding two riders, Michael "Itchy" Bickerton #28p (Expert) and Mitch Harvat #22a (Pro Twins). This would be "Itchy's" first race as a expert and would be riding the Bickerton/RRCF SV650 and Mitch would be riding the RRCF Kawasaki 650r.
